The Wellington Humane Society is a managed intake shelter. As much as we wish we could take each and every pet, we have a limited number of kennels and foster homes. If you need to contact a rescue, here are several local ones that may be of assistance.​ Also listed are other resources that you may be interested in.

We believe that we can make the biggest impact through collaboration with other shelters, rescues, transporters, and animal professionals. We are strongest when we work together on behalf of the animals that are so important to us.
